We are pleased to have Martha Turner at our event the 1st Thursday of October:
Martha Turner is a native Atlantan and veteran organizer who is teaching people how to declutter their homes to improve their lives and personal spaces. Martha’s unique approach confronts both the emotional and design obstacles behind the toughest organizational challenges with practical, easy-to-manage solutions that can make your home life better.
Most of us spend so much time trying to find things that we can’t focus on what really matters to us. Reclaiming your space against the rising tides of clutter is an investment in yourself and your life, not to mention that of your family.
For our event:
Martha will create a couple of home scenarios illustrating ways to use everyday items that can improve flow, provide organization and make something beautiful for reasonable amounts of money. We will have handouts giving tips on home decluttering and listing resources to help them with every step along the way.
She will be demonstrating:
1. Small bill paying/letter writing area using: table/desk, chair, file cabinet, end tables, occasional tables, storage ottomans
2. Sitting room area for a calm retreat to replace junkie corner, using: arm chairs, ottomans, pillows, loveseats, chaises, floor lamps, end tables, occasional tables, throw rugs
3. Sewing/craft/gift wrapping station using unexpected pieces: chest of drawers, sideboard
